Woman Killed in Crash on PGBT - Carrollton, TX

Multi-vehicle car crash on the President George Bush Turnpike in Carrollton left one dead at the scene.

Background 

In the afternoon on December 14th, DPS Troopers and Carrollton Fire Rescue were dispatched to the PGBT right before I35E. Drivers were stopped due to traffic when a second vehicle failed to stop and ended up rear-ending a stopped vehicle. The second vehicle veered across all lanes and collided with a commercial truck. The second vehicle driver was a 23-year-old woman from Duncanville that was pronounced deceased at the scene. Luckily, other drivers involved were not seriously injured.
