Fatal Crash South of Springtown
Following a fatal car crash involving two vehicles, The Texas Department of Public Safety pronounces one person killed. On December 16th at 2:16pm, firefighters, paramedics, and multiple police officers were all dispatched to Farm-to-Market Road 51 near Carter Road to address the scene.
Background
According to Yahoo, the car crash occurred due to a Chevrolet pickup swerving into the opposite lane of traffic in order to avoid another vehicle. In the process, the pickup struck the Chrysler Pacifica driven by Daniel Lund, a 74 year old man from Weatherford, Texas who was identified as the deceased individual.
