Intoxicated driver runs red light, kills another driver in Arlington crash reported DFW Scanner. Around 9:49 am, the Arlington Fire Department, Police Department, and EMS responded to the scene and located two vehicles with massive damage. Arlington officials say the driver of a sports passenger vehicle traveling eastbound on Arbrook at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light and t-boned a second vehicle, causing the second vehicle to flip. The driver of the second vehicle a 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who caused the crash was a 23-year-old man who was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police will take him into custody when he is out of the hospital for Intoxication Manslaughter. Police will continue to investigate the crash.
