4 Killed In Wrong Way Crash on I-45 Southeast - Wilmer, TX
Four killed in wrong-way crash on I-45 Southeast of Dallas reported WFAA. Dallas police are still investigating the May 22 Sunday crash that took place at I-45 in Wilmer at 11:45 p.m. The Wilmer police department reported they received a call from the Ferris police department at 11:43 p.m. that a wrong-way driver had crashed just south of Mars road. A driver had been going north in the southbound lanes when they struck another vehicle head-on. Wilmer PD arrived on the scene a few moments later to take care of those injured in the wreckage. According to Wilmer PD, there was a woman and two juveniles in the car all of which died from the impact. The driver of the car going south was also killed by the impact of the two vehicles. According to police there was also a pair of juveniles in the car that were not fatally injured, and are expected to recover from the crash. The names and ages of those affected by the crash have yet to be released to the public.
