Unfortunately, the boy died while at the hospital. Dallas Police Department is currently investigating the crash to see if there was anything more to the crash. For example, if the ice cream truck was legally parked or if the Tahoe driver was speeding. At this time, the 53-year-old unidentified woman is not being charged with the death. Our Prayer
Dear Father God, please extend your healing light onto the souls of those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Lord, please give them peace knowing that the soul of the departed is forever with you in paradise. We ask this in your name with all the glory and honor to you. Amen.
At this time, it is unknown if the accident only occurred due to the impatience of the driver or if other kinds of inhibition were involved. The fact that it was nighttime when the accident took place had an impact on the drivers' ability to stop in time. The fact that the victim was a 2-year-old child means that the body was small, and thus hard to see especially at night. The family of the child along with the woman should look into hiring the services of an attorney. Doing so could help with the funeral costs and dealing with insurance companies to make sure that the maximum cost is obtained.
