Ford Strikes Stopped 18-Wheeler Leading to one Fatality in Denton
On March 31, 2022, a Ford truck struck the back of an 18-wheeler in Denton reported DFWCBS. Denton Police were dispatched to the scene of an accident at mile marker 467 of I-35E near North Texas Blvd shortly after 1:45 AM. Denton PD and emergency services rushed to the scene of the reported accident and found the smashed-up wreck of a Ford F-150 that had struck the back of an 18-wheeler that had stopped for traffic. Upon checking the wrecked ford paramedics found the as of yet unnamed 42-year-old driver had died at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was unharmed by the accident. Denton traffic investigators arrived at the scene and began to search for what might have caused the crash in the first place. At this time, the investigation is still ongoing.
