Serious 4-Vehicle Crash Caused by Intoxicated Teenager Abriella Payne

On January 13, 2022 at around 10:30am, a serious 4-vehicle collision occurred along Farm to Market Road 917 in Johnson County. 17-year-old Abriella Payne was driving an SUV that caused the series of crashes and was found to be intoxicated at time time. 

Fox News reported that Abriella’s Chevy Tahoe struck a Toyota Tacoma head-on and then also struck a Jeep Gladiator after veering into oncoming traffic along FM 917. The Tacoma then struck a Charger behind Abriella’s SUV head-on. The driver of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital along with another driver involved in the crash. The intoxicated teen was arrested on three counts of Intoxication Assault, which is a 3rd degree felony.
