3 Injured, 1 Killed, in Crash on SH 360 in Arlington
Shortly before 8 a.m. on December 4th, 2021, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in the 2300 block of South State Highway 360. According to NBC News, Arlington Police say that a BMW 381-i was traveling southbound with three occupants, when it stalled in a lane of traffic. A Toyota Tacoma, occupying only the driver, struck the stopped vehicle from behind. The driver of the BMW, a 29-year-old male was transported to a local hospital after suffering severe injuries. The front seat passenger of the same vehicle, a 28-year-old male, suffered minor injuries. The third occupant of the BMW, 27-year-old Tomi Davis, was thrown from the vehicle when the collision occurred, resulting in extremely serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police say. The driver of the Tacoma, a 43-year-old male suffered minor injuries as well, and no charges are expected to be filed against him after cooperation with investigators.
Although this crash was not completely the fault of the truck driver, since traffic halted
