Motorcycle Crash near East Lancaster Kills 2 - Fort Worth, TX
On Sunday, November 14, 2021 just before 1:00AM, a collision occurred involving a pick-up truck and a motorcycle. This incident occurred near East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth, and the 28 -year-old female passenger on the motorcycle, Brianna Marie Ramos, was declared deceased at the scene by authorities. The motorcycle driver was rushed to the hospital and passed away 12 hours later, as a result of blunt force injuries. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified motorcycle driver as 33-year-old Blake Austin Hasty, an Arlington resident. The passenger of the pick-up truck was also hospitalized for injuries, but has not been identified, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
According to Mr. Hasty's obituary, he was an avid, experienced motorcyclist and he was a lively man of God. He was an apprentice plumber and had a variety of interests from playing the drums, playing Ice Hockey and participating in weight-lifting activities. Mr. Hasty was a very bright, young man taken away far too soon. He had a strong work-ethic and was noted to be madly in love with his soulmate, Brianna Ramos.
