Pickup Collides with Fire Engine on I-35 - Denton, TX
On the morning of August 26, 2021, a pickup truck collided into a fire engine along I-35 at Mayhill in Denton. The pickup was badly crushed, leaving the driver trapped inside and forcing a shutdown of the highway for hours as emergency crews worked to extricate him. The driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. No firefighters sustained injuries in the crash.
