Collision With Semi Severely Traps Ice Cream Truck Driver - Fort Worth
Around mid-day on December 24, 2020, an ice cream truck crashed with an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 near Hulen Street in Fort Worth. The collision caused the Blue Bell truck driver to be severely trapped and Fort Worth firefighters worked hard to extricate the man for almost an hour. The man sustained critical injuries and was taken to a hospital. Unfortunately, the injuries and entrapement were so severe that his leg had to be amputated. Investigations continue as to the details surrounding the crash.
